By purchasing from us, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined below. These policies are designed to ensure fairness, prevent exploitation, and safeguard both our customers and our company.
Warranty Policy
All products sold by SR ESK8 are covered under a limited warranty period as follows:
- AMORGE Battery Packs: One-year warranty for manufacturing defects or non-artificial damage.
- SIAECOSYS Motor Controllers: One-year and three-month warranty from the date of manufacture.
- SIAECOSYS Motors: One-year and three-month warranty from the date of manufacture.
Warranty Conditions
Our warranties cover manufacturing defects and workmanship issues only. They do not cover damage or failures caused by user error, misuse, or negligence. Examples of situations not covered include but are not limited to:

Improper Installation:
- Failure to properly bolt the motor or secure the controller.
- Loose connections causing arcing or short circuits.
- Poor cable management leading to stress or wear on wires.

Misuse or Overstress:
- Running a motor or controller outside its specified voltage, current, or power ratings.
- Exceeding the cooling capacity of the controller or motor (e.g., prolonged use without proper airflow or heatsinks).
- Operating the battery below the minimum safe voltage or exceeding the maximum current draw.

Physical Damage:
- Impact, crushing, or dropping the product.
- Water immersion or exposure beyond the product's IP rating.
- Corrosion or damage caused by improper storage (e.g., exposure to high humidity or extreme temperatures).

Wear and Tear:
- Normal wear and tear on connectors, wires, or casings.
- Gradual capacity reduction in batteries over time due to normal use.

Third-Party Alterations:
- Modifications, repairs, or disassembly by unauthorised persons.
- Using third-party components or accessories that are incompatible with the product.

Improper Charging:
- Charging with non-compatible chargers.
- Overcharging, undercharging, or leaving the battery plugged in for extended periods.
Warranty Claim Process
To file a warranty claim, you must:
- Contact us at info@sreskate.com with your order number and detailed description of the issue.
- Provide clear photo or video evidence of the issue, including close-ups of the damaged area or defect.
- Wait for our team to evaluate your claim. If approved, we will provide instructions for the next steps (repair, replacement, or other solutions).
Important Notes

Freight and Shipping: Shipping costs for warranty claims (to and from our facility) are the responsibility of the buyer unless the issue is deemed to be a manufacturing defect.

User Responsibility: Buyers must have a thorough understanding of the installation and operation of these high-performance components. Improper installation or use will void the warranty. We highly recommend consulting a professional if you are unsure about any aspect of the installation or maintenance process.

Returns Policy (UK Customers Only)
For customers in the UK, we offer a 7-day return policy from the date of delivery for batteries, motors, and controllers provided by AMORGE and SIAECOSYS. Returns will only be accepted if the following conditions are met:

Product Condition: The item must be returned in unused, unopened, and undamaged condition with all original packaging, labels, and accessories intact. Any product showing signs of use, tampering, or damage (including scratches, dents, broken connectors, or frayed wires) will not be eligible for return.

Misuse or Damage: Products showing signs of misuse, short circuits, over-discharge, or incorrect installation will not be accepted. This includes but is not limited to:
- Improper wiring or soldering that leads to damage.
- Using incorrect connectors or adapters.
- Connecting to systems outside the product's specified limits (e.g., running a motor controller beyond its rated amps or voltage).

Inspection Before Use: It is the buyer’s responsibility to thoroughly inspect the product upon delivery. Any issues must be reported to us immediately and before installation. Claims for returns based on damage or defects must include photo or video evidence clearly demonstrating the issue, along with the product’s serial number.
No Returns for US and Canada
- At this time, we do not accept returns for products delivered to the US or Canada. All sales to these regions are final. However, we provide a one-year limited warranty (details below) and full-time customer support to assist with any issues.
Returns for Non-AMORGE and Non-SIAECOSYS Products
For all products not manufactured by AMORGE or SIAECOSYS, we offer a 60-day free return policy (unless otherwise stated on the product’s store page). This allows our customers the flexibility to return eligible items for a full refund or exchange.
Conditions for Returns
To qualify for a return, the following conditions must be met:

- The item must be returned in its original, unused, and undamaged condition with all original packaging, accessories, and documentation intact.
- Products showing signs of wear, tampering, or damage (e.g., scratches, stains, dents, or altered components) will not be eligible for return.

- Returns must be initiated within 60 days of delivery.

Exceptions:
- Certain items, such as custom-built products, perishable goods, or items marked "final sale" on the store page, may not be eligible for return.

Inspection:
- Items must pass inspection upon return to ensure they meet the above conditions. Refunds or exchanges will only be processed after this inspection.

Note: Items returned without prior authorization or outside the eligible return window may not be processed.
